Purposeful Steady Marching Growth

Over lunch some day we can tell you about the near broom closet we started out in. After lunch we can give you a tour of the cul-de-sac we occupy both sides of and the offsite data-center where we back up our client’s files to the minute. After getting to know you we can disclose that our humble beginnings huddled around a few upright presses and a copy machine. We’re not embarrassed about it, -but it sure seems like a long time ago.

ADR is in its 4th decade now. It’s a rare thing at best.NBAA_Airfoil2008-Member.jpgThe local print shop has been beaten by a better mousetrap a dozen times since we started out. Most of the practitioners of the noble craft of printing have gone away. The lineage to Gutenberg gets more pixelated each day.

You’ll be hard pressed to find a company that can embrace old and new media like we can. The startups aren’t time tested. The old dogs don’t learn new tricks. That’s what makes us such a rare breed.

We attribute our longevity to fearlessness. Not cockiness, just factual understanding that we have to keep up with the times.

When digital printing started to break, we embraced it and lived through it. When the web hit, we learned to live there quickly. We miss some of our old competitors… But we’re happy to still be thriving, looking for the next big thing.

You don’t build a business on being ready to deliver, though. You build it on consistency and trust. We’re happy to say that a lot of our first clients who have been fortunate to stand the test of time still count us as their trusted production house. They are still calling us, asking “how can we get this done?” Trusting us to have scrambled to find that answer long before the phone call ever happened.
